These are 2 lb bags of fully colonized mushroom grain spawn, inoculated with selected cultures and prepared specifically for you! 1 2lb Grain Spawn bag can expand to 5-20 5lb Substrate bags depending upon Species and the Substrate itself! Plus; save some for more sterile grain spawn or add a few kernels to agar to save the culture.
I will be rotating through different species and strains as I work with them, so availability will change throughout the year.
You may see:
• Pleurotus spp. including different oyster species and isolations
• Hericium spp. including Lion's Mane and related species
• Ganoderma spp. including some classic “Reishi” and other Ganodermas
• Other specialty and experimental fungi as they become available
Inoculated to Order
These are offered as pre orders because I want to send you healthy, fresh spawn rather than bags that have been sitting around waiting for a home loosing their vigor.
Please allow approximately 2 weeks for your order to be colonized and ready to ship unless a different timeframe is stated specifically.

2 lb Corn and Whole Oat Grain Spawn
The grain is prepared, sterilized, inoculated with a selected culture, and allowed to colonize before being shipped.
The corn provides a large, nutrient rich grain with plenty of internal moisture and accessible nutrients, while whole oats provide a different grain structure and full nutrient profile. Helps keep metabolism active and ready for substrates.
Together they make a versatile spawn that works well as a starting point for many cultivated fungi.
Please, research the specific requirements of your selected species before expanding, storing, or fruiting your culture.
