I found this Resihi fruiting in the Summer of 2026 here in Jacksonville, Florida! I found it in the woods with my dog producing a really lovely almost double conk off its antler base.
This wild Ganoderma, or “Reishi” species is know for its red and golden hues! Prolific and Fast fruiters, in nature you will often see them surrounding the base of a tree antlering off the stump and roots.
Not the traditionally worked with G. “lyngzhi” or “lucidum” but still an incredible culture! Research still needed to determine compounds and medicinal potentials.
